Verifone VX520 Thermal Paper Rolls — Standard & Contactless
MediaJab’s compatibility finder lists Verifone VX520, VX520 Contactless and Moneris VX520 with our 2 1/4-inch thermal roll formats. Confirm the version on your terminal before comparing a replacement: the roll compartment differs between standard and contactless hardware.
Standard and contactless capacity are different
Verifone’s VX 520 specification sheet lists 49 mm paper-roll capacity for the standard model and 40 mm for the contactless version. Our 50 ft and 60 ft coreless options have stated outside diameters of 34 and 36 mm respectively. These measurements concern the circular end of the roll; 2 1/4 inches refers to paper width. Do not transfer this selection to a VX680, VX820 or another Verifone model solely because it carries the same brand.

Before you order
Confirm the full model, configured paper width, permitted diameter, centre requirements and actual paper thickness. A 2 1/4-inch width is about 57.2 mm; 3 1/8 inches is about 79.4 mm. The 58 and 80 mm categories are common nominal descriptions: follow the manufacturer’s tolerances. For a multi-location purchase, validate a roll on the installed equipment before standardizing the order.
